Split-type anemometer functions include wind-speed measurement, air-temperature measurement and Beaufort scale indication. Users can select maximum, minimum, average or current wind speed. Five selectable units—m/s, km/h, ft/min, knots and mph—are provided. Additional features: data hold and a high-sensitivity sensor.

Unlike most one-piece models on the market, whose measurement direction is fixed and whose functions are limited to wind speed only, this unit offers both air temperature and Beaufort scale readings.
